Shinola lists the Duck Automatic Watch in alabaster and in black on its own store at $895 USD each, which puts the mechanical version $300 above the $595 USD quartz Duck the brand still sells alongside it. Worn & Wound reports the launch date as October 5, 2026.

Inside is the Miyota 9015 Premium, a 24-jewel automatic with roughly 42 hours of power reserve, turned by a custom rotor that Shinola shows off through a full exhibition caseback. The 38mm brushed steel case keeps the Duck’s polished black aluminum bezel insert. The alabaster reference, SKU S0120497727-1-Alb-38-JPN, carries a fine sandblast sunray dial with a hydro stamped pattern, turquoise tracking, applied silver stripe indexes filled with C3 lume and a yellow-tipped turquoise seconds hand. The black version swaps in a plume stamped pattern, pink tracking, a cream outer ring and a turquoise inner ring.

Both come on a new quick-release brushed and polished steel H-link Duck bracelet, and Shinola says the watches are designed and assembled in Detroit. Worn & Wound reports two further versions at $1,095 USD, a gold PVD model and a special gift set running the longer 80-hour Miyota 9085 instead, and says stock will also be at Windup Watch Fair NYC from October 16 to 18. The two $895 USD references are listed on Shinola’s own online store.
